Literacy Specialist (Grant Funded Position)-BOCES With Initial Assignment in Five County Region

The successful candidate will provide regional training on issues related to literacy instruction for students with disabilities as determined through the regional planning process throughout a five-county region.

Must possess Master's degree in special education, vocational rehabilitation, psychology, school psychology, reading or speech, and language or Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, school psychology, reading or speech and language and a master’s degree in education; and at least five years of direct teaching or provision of services with, or providing training on, technical assistance relating to literacy outcomes for students with disabilities in schools and/or community service agencies.
