EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Van Driver-BOCES with Initial Assignment at Sackett Technical Center in Glenfield, NY
The successful candidate will load, unload, and operate a light motor vehicle in transporting materials and supplies. This position involves responsibility for the safe and economical operation and care of light motor vehicles.
Must possess one year of experience in the operation of a light motor vehicle such as pick-up or panel truck, station wagon or automobile; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Automotive Technology Teacher Assistant-Sackett Technical Center in Glenfield, NY
The successful candidate will assist CTE instructor in the delivery of all aspects of the CTE program. Duties include assisting classroom teacher in monitoring students, record-keeping, and guiding students as they practice newly acquired knowledge and skills.
Must possess NYS certification as a Teacher Assistant.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities. Must possess NYS Certification – Physical Education; candidates holding NYS Certification in Health Education, also, are preferred.

Social Studies Teacher (Two Openings)-Boak Education Center in Lowville, NY and Watertown ACES
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide social studies instruction in an alternative education environment. Must possess valid NYS Teacher Certification in Social Studies Grades 7-12.

Interpreter for the Deaf-Jefferson County School Districts
The successful candidate will provide sign to voice and voice to sign interpreting, or visible to spoken and spoken to visible interpreting and voice. Will also participate in meetings with other members of the educational team dealing with the development and review of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and progress in the classroom, as related to ability to process information. Must possess experience with American Sign Language and educational interpreting.

The successful candidate will provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities as specified in Individual Education Plans and speech improvement services to non-disabled students. Must possess New York State Certification/License in Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Speech and Language Disabilities.

The successful candidate will provide specialized instruction to K-12 students who have a hearing disability. Services include direct instruction, consultation, and co-teaching as appropriate. Successful candidate will fill in on an as-needed basis. Must possess Class B Commercial Drivers License with P & S endorsements.
