Programs for Exceptional Students (PES) provides specialized education and support for students whose needs go beyond the traditional classroom.
BOCES Programs for Exceptional Students ensures students with disabilities have the opportunity—and the support—to learn, grow, and succeed.
PES has locations at both the Watertown and Glenfield campuses as well as in Lowville and many classrooms throughout the region.

Our Program for Exceptional Students (PES) offers a range of specialized programs that go beyond traditional classroom learning, focusing on academic achievement, behavioral development, and social-emotional growth.
With supportive, small-group settings and targeted instruction, PES empowers students to thrive in ways that suit their individual learning styles.

Pathways to Graduation and Beyond.
BOCES helps students build the skills and confidence to navigate their educational journey successfully. From middle school intervention programs that reinforce academic basics to diploma-based high school programs that prepare students for graduation, our goal is to keep students on track for academic success and life beyond the classroom. We have five programs to help a wide range of students including.
8:1:1 Programs: Low ratio classrooms for high degree of individual attention.
Alternative High School: A BOCES two-year course for 16-18 year olds.
Endeavor (Middle School): For high school readiness.
Endeavor (Diploma-Based High School): Small-group instruction and personalized support.
