Substitute/TA Training

This training fulfills the harassment, bullying, and discrimination prevention and intervention requirement for certification under the Dignity for All Students Act (The Dignity Act). It addresses social patterns such as marginalization, microaggressions, and acts of bias—whether based on race, color, weight, national origin, ethnicity, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender, or sex.

The training emphasizes a proactive approach to building a positive school culture and climate, with the goal of creating affirming educational environments for all students. Successful completion satisfies the certification requirement outlined in §14(5) of Chapter 102 of the Laws of 2012.

Session also introduces steps to obtain the Mandated Reporter certificate.
