BOCES ADULT EDUCATION

Take the First Step Toward a Diploma.

BOCES’ Literacy Education program helps adult learners prepare for the GED® with personalized learning plans and workforce readiness support. Start with a two-day Literacy Orientation and build the skills needed to succeed.

BOCES Literacy Education is more than GED® prep—it’s a pathway to greater opportunities.

With personalized learning plans, hands-on support, and workforce readiness training, adult learners can strengthen essential literacy skills while working toward a high school equivalency diploma. Classes are available in Watertown and Glenfield.

Literacy Orientation is a two-day event (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

Students who attain a high school equivalency diploma are invited to attend graduation ceremonies.
Graduation ceremonies are held each June at the Hilton Garden Inn, Watertown, NY.
