Heavy Equipment Instructor-Jefferson Community College Extension Site, Lowville, NY
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide a program of instruction in operation and maintenance of Heavy Equipment. A project-based learning approach will be key.
Must possess NYS Certification or be eligible for a Transitional A Certificate in Vehicle Mechanical Repair (Including Heavy Equipment Repair) Grades 7-12.

Teacher Assistant - Heavy Equipment Program at the Bohlen Technical Center in Watertown, NY
The successful candidate will assist CTE instructor in the delivery of all aspects of the CTE program. Duties include assisting classroom teacher in monitoring students, record-keeping, and guiding students as they practice newly acquired knowledge and skills.
Must possess NYS Certification as a Teacher Assistant. Experience in operation and maintenance of heavy equipment, working with high school students and familiarity with computers preferred. Valid CDL preferred.

Adult Education Specialist, WIOA Literacy Instructor-Watertown, NY
The successful candidate will provide workforce development and literacy services to assist individuals who are not enrolled or not required to be enrolled in secondary school under NYS law. Will also assist students in acquiring the necessary academic skills to obtain a NYS High School Equivalency diploma.

The Jefferson-Lewis BOCES Extended School Year Program provides an interactive and engaging summer learning experience for students with disabilities grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. The program serves students from school districts in our BOCES region from July 7th through August 15th in Jefferson and Lewis Counties.
Minimum requirement is graduation from high school or a high school equivalency diploma.
