RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES:

The Director is responsible for planning, supervising, implementing, and evaluating a full complement of special education programs and an alternative education program for general education students.  Five program administrators supervise staff and work closely with the 18 component school districts of the BOCES to meet the needs of a diverse student population.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: This is a 12-month position with a salary range of $130,000-150,000. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated handbook. Job Qualifications

New York State certification as a School District Administrator is required.  Successful candidates should possess prior teaching and administrative experience in Special Education.
