Arts in Education/ Exploratory Enrichment
The arts don’t just enrich education—they expand it. Through the Arts in Education and Exploratory Enrichment CoSers, BOCES helps schools bring music, theater, dance, visual arts, literature, and hands-on learning experiences into the lives of students.
These programs create powerful opportunities for creativity, connection, and curriculum-aligned exploration—both in and out of the classroom.

Arts in Education
CoSer 410 helps schools integrate the arts into the core educational experience. From music and dance to visual art, literature, and theater, these programs support student learning while enriching school culture.
Schools may be eligible for BOCES aid on costs associated with qualifying assemblies, artist visits, and field trips aligned with NYS Learning Standards in the arts.
Guidelines must be met for program costs to be eligible to generate BOCES aid.

Exploratory Enrichment
CoSer 412 brings classroom learning to life through real-world experiences in academic and career-focused areas. Field trips, guest speakers, and interactive programs deepen student engagement across subject areas.
By sharing costs among districts, schools can offer broader access to standards-aligned enrichment while maximizing available BOCES aid.
Guidelines must be met for program costs to be eligible to generate BOCES aid.
