Students learn to work safely and skillfully with a range of industry-standard welding tools and methods, including SMAW, GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), oxy-fuel, and plasma cutting—both manual and CNC. You’ll also study blueprint reading, measurement accuracy, and the physical properties of metals, all while developing the steady hands and sharp eye of a welding professional.

We have articulation agreements with Alfred State College, Lincoln Technical Insitute, Ohio Technology College, Mohawk Valley Community College, SUNY Canton and SUNY Delhi. Students can earn a 10-hour safety card issued by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), as well as the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certifications.

Graduates of the Welding Technology program can earn OSHA 10 and NCCER welding certifications, helping them stand out in the job market. You’ll also have access to articulation agreements with six top technical colleges, and the option to earn up to 20 credits toward a two-year AOS Business Degree at Jefferson Community College—giving you a powerful edge whether you pursue employment or further education.
