Career Discovery Launchpad
This isn’t just an introduction—it’s a head start. In Pre-Tech Academy, you’ll explore topics like entrepreneurship, global issues, business tech, and public speaking through real-world activities and team-based problem solving.
You’ll also get to visit BOCES program sites, try hands-on work in different fields, and begin shaping your future with confidence.

Academic Credit with Career Value
You’ll earn up to four credits—one each in English and Global Studies, and two in Career & Technical Education—while learning practical skills you can apply across high school and beyond.
Whether you pursue a trade, college, or a combination of both, this program builds a solid academic and career foundation.
