Special Education Trainer
Special Educator Trainers provide training and information on the special education process consistent with federal law, regulation, and guidance, as well as New York State law and NYSED guidance.

Kristin Capotosto has been a Special Education Trainer for approximately 10 years. She brings expertise in the area of special education and effective practices for teachers. She has a Master’s degree in Special Education: Varying Exceptionalities.
Previously, Karen was a Resource Room teacher and CPSE/CSE Chairperson. Kristin provides information, training & technical assistance through regional training sessions relating to special education regulations and effective practices.
