Our Partnership

Family and Community Engagement Centers (FACE Centers) serve as a vital bridge between families, schools, and communities. Designed to support parents and caregivers of children with disabilities, FACE Centers provide individualized guidance, inclusive workshops, and access to resources that empower families to become active participants in the special education process.

By fostering collaboration, strengthening advocacy skills, and promoting equity, FACE Centers help ensure that families are equipped to support their children’s learning, development, and long-term success—at home, in school, and beyond.

Julia Alteri brings more than 16 years of experience in the field of teaching students with disabilities to her role as a school age professional development specialist.
