
Students in the Pre-Tech Academy learned the value of community service today by helping the United Way of Northern New York with it's annual food drive in Watertown. Everyone worked hard to help area food pantries ensure that no one goes hungry.

A sweet problem to solve. M.A.S.T. Summer Campers in Lewis County wrap up their two week project in finding ways for sugar shacks to become more energy efficient.





Students taking part in our M.A.S.T Summer Camp in Watertown have had a busy week. They were tasked with researching and coming up with possible solutions to help the Thompson Park Zoo combat flooding within its butterfly house exhibit.

Congratulations to today's winners of the Spelling Bees at the Jefferson County Fair: Lola Johnson of Watertown (Grades 1-2), Jack Chrisman of South Jefferson (Grades 3-5), and Kiera MacDonald of Watertown (Grades 6-8).

Congratulations to Andrew Kirkwood. The #SackettCenter Electrical Wiring graduate won the third place, bronze medal at the #SkillsUSA Nationals in Louisville, KY.



Great news! The Promotional Bulletin Board team from the Sackett Center made the top 6 out of 44 in the preliminaries at the SkillsUSA Nationals, which means they were called back for consideration for the finals. Great Job and fingers crossed for a medal.


Champions at Work! Both Tia Briot (Photography, Beaver River) and Andrew Kirkwood (Electrical Construction Wiring) are all set to go for their respective competitions at the SkillsUSA Nationals in Louisville.



Our Jeff-Lewis BOCES SkillsUSA crew made it to the Nationals in Louisville and are ready to go for this week’s conference and competition.
