Special Education Trainer
Special Educator Trainers provide training and informational regional training sessions relating to special education requirements and effective practices. We serve to improve instructional practices and outcomes of students with disabilities by providing a coordinated system of high quality technical assistance, information dissemination and professional development within a four BOCES region: Madison-Oneida BOCES, Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES, Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES and Jefferson-Lewis-Hamilton-Herkimer-Oneida BOCES.

|Kristin Capotosto has been a Special Education Trainer for approximately 10 years. She brings expertise in the area of special education and effective practices for teachers. She has a Master’s degree in Special Education: Varying Exceptionalities. She was a Resource Room teacher and CPSE/CSE Chairperson. Kristin provides information, training & technical assistance through regional training sessions relating to special education regulations and effective practices.|
