
This introductory course provides students with a foundational understanding of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Topics include basic principles of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and refrigeration cycles. Students learn about common HVAC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and air handling units. The course also covers safety procedures, tool usage, trade math and an overview of system installation and maintenance and the chance for an EPA 608 certificate. Ideal for beginners. This class prepares students for further study and hands-on experience in the HVAC field.
Upon successful completion of the program, a certificate of completion will be awarded.
