The Howard G. Sackett Technical Center held its annual Award Day Ceremony for graduating seniors at South Lewis High School on June 7, 2018.  The following awards were handed out to the students listed below.

BOCES Professional Association (BPA) Award:  Haley Dekin (New Vision Health, Lowville), Damon Emerson (Environmental Conservation & Forestry (South Lewis), Erin Murphy (Early Childhood Education, Beaver River), Ian Murphy (New Vision Health, Beaver River), and Hannah Shattuck (Cosmetology, River Valley)

SkillsUSA Award: Joshua Myers (Visual Communications, South Lewis), Alexis Smith (Early Childhood Education, Copenhagen), and Kali Smith (Veterinary Practices, South Lewis)

Lewis County Association of Education Office Professionals Award: Emilee Zehr (Early Childhood Education, Beaver River)

Rome Teacher Federal Credit Union Scholarship: Kacie Marcy (Cosmetology, Adirondack) and Collin Loomis (Visual Communications, South Lewis)

Helen Sergent Cosmetology Memorial Award:  Gianna Carbonaro (Cosmetology, Lowville) and Makenna Olmstead (Cosmetology, Beaver River)

NYS Woodsman’s Field Corporation College Award: Damon Emerson (Environmental Conservation & Forestry, South Lewis)

NYS Woodsman’s Field Corporation Employability Award: Lucas Goutermout (Environmental Conservation & Forestry, Lowville)

Adirondack Central School Related Professionals Union Award:  Elizabeth Gettman (Nursing Assistant) and Travis Pruckno (Gas & Diesel Mechanics)

Black River Council of School Superintendents: Haley Dekin (New Vision Health, Lowville)

Northern New York Community Foundation Award: Ruth Haldeman (Early Childhood Education) and Emily Mast (New Vision Health, Beaver River)
