    Gas/Diesel Mechanics (Sackett Career & Tech Center)

    A keen curiosity in how engines function…enjoyment of hands-on learning projects…an interest in further developing a foundation of repair skills. If this describes you, the Gas/Diesel Mechanics program may be just what you’ve been looking for. This two-year program gives you an excellent foundation for employment in agricultural, industrial and over-the-road truck mechanics, as you’ll be learning about engines, power trains, hydraulics, chassis, welding and troubleshooting. You’ll be using the latest tools in your shop practices, gaining real-world job experience. This course is also open to adult students. High school students are given first priority for enrollment.
