    Introduction to Trades: Building Maintenance  (Bohlen Tech Center only)

    Interested in developing your general employment skills while also trying out a variety of trades? Here’s your chance! BOCES’ Building Maintenance program not only helps you with professional and personal development (work ethic, positive attitude, problem-solving, communications skills, personal grooming, etc.), it also gives you an opportunity to work hands-on using equipment that’s current with industry standards. You’ll develop real-world skills in lawn care, landscape maintenance, shop techniques, manufacturing, trail maintenance, chainsaw/firewood, horticulture (greenhouse, gardening, orchard) and custodial work. Choice of one-, two-, or three-year options or to transfer into one of our construction-related or other CTE programs for your junior or senior year.
