The Regional and Pre-School Behavior Specialists, provide personalized training and technical assistance to school districts to establish and sustain PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) systems and practices. They also provide training and technical assistance in collaboration with other specialists, in accordance with the work plan and district Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs).

Additionally, professional development and resources on PBIS are offered to all districts in the area of general behavioral supports and interventions.

Tracy Largett
Regional Behavior Specialist
Tracy Largett worked as a school social worker for 14 years. She earned a Bachelors of Social work from SUNY Brockport followed by a masters of Social Work from Syracuse University. Tracy is a certified school social worker, school building leader and school district leader. She has many year of experience working with students with disabilities. She is passionate about helping schools become a better place, where students and staff want to be to help them grow and learn.

Regional Behavior Specialist

LaDonna Richardson joined the RSE-TASC in September 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Nazareth College, Rochester, NY and is a certified Speech Language Pathologist. Additionally, she earned a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University in the area of Audiology which led her to work for many years with deaf and hard of hearing children at the New York State School for the Deaf (NYSSD) where she became fluent in American Sign Language. Following her service at NYSSD, she continued working in the Rome City School District as a Behavior Specialist. LaDonna is dedicated to promoting positive relationships within our schools so our youth feel a deeper connection.

Pre-School Behavior Specialist

Darcy Burns has been a Special Education Teacher for 21 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a Certified Special Education Teacher K-2, and General Education Teacher K-6. Additional, she earned a Master of Science degree in Elementary Reading. Darcy has many years of experience working with children with Autism. She joined the RSE-TASC in August 2014 where she currently provides Professional Development and Technical Assistance with a focus on Preschool. Darcy is committed to helping educator create a positive learning environment.
