Principal-Bohlen Technical Center in Watertown, NY

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safety, supervision, and career & technical instructional program at the Bohlen Technical Center. The Center provides Career & Technical Education programs to adults and students in grades 11 and 12 from 11 Jefferson County School Districts. This is a 12-month position. Candidate must posses Master’s Degree, minimum of 3-5 years successful teaching experience New York State Certification as a School Administrator Supervisor (SAS), School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Administrator (SDA) required.

School Attorney/Labor Relations Specialist 

The successful candidate will act as Board’s legal agent & representative in negotiations process on behalf of school districts, including contractual analysis, proposal development, negotiation, and labor relations services related to the implementation of collective bargaining agreements. Will also meet with and provide legal assistance, advice, and support to Superintendents and Boards of Education on a multitude of legal matters.

Candidates must posses a Juris Doctorate and admission to the NYS Bar with at least three years of experience as a practicing attorney. Experience in collective bargaining or otherwise representing and counseling employers and experience advising public sector employers and familiarity with the operations of school districts is preferred
