    Home Health Aide
     

    Enter a profession that enables patients to stay in their home by monitoring and recording patient condition; providing support and personal services; teaching families.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (2012 analysis), the national median wage is $10.00 per hour with an annual income of $20,820.
     HHA
    New York state is considered one of the states with high employment rates, high concentration of jobs and higher wages for home health aides.  Skilled, high end HHAs in NYS can earn in excess of $29,250 annually.  The areas of the industry that pay particularly well include physician's offices and state government.
