Students in this flexible program can participate for one, two or three years depending on their individual situations. You’ll develop customer service and basic computer skills that can be used in a variety of service industries, such as restaurants, hospitals, hotels or retail settings. You’ll also learn workplace skills related to housekeeping, food preparation and service, front desk intake in hospitals or hotels, table bussing and dishwashing. Personal and professional development are also covered (team work, work ethics, management skills, problem-solving, effective written and verbal communications, etc.).
