criminal justice students study blood spatter  Students from the Criminal Justice program at the H.G. Sackett center learned first hand about blood spatter analysis this week. Science teacher Mr. Alsup collaborated with Mr. Neddo, Criminal Justice teacher, to create a hands-on blood spatter lesson. Students learned how to examine blood evidence to determine directionality of a blood trail, the analysis of arterial spray for the purposes of determining wound location, and how to identify potential weapons based on cast-off and transfer. Students will use the skills learned in this class to examine evidence at a simulated crime scene during their next science lesson.
