The Jefferson-Lewis BOCES Bohlen Technical Center in Watertown invites the public to its annual open house Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m.

 

Instructors will be available to answer questions and help attendees explore and discover the many opportunities and career options available to students enrolled in career and technical education. An adult education representative will also be on site and college and military representatives will be on hand as well.

 

Visitors will be able to learn about all the center’s offerings including three of the newest career and technical programs: Virtual Business, New Vision Alternative Energy and Hospitality Services.

 

Several lobby displays will showcase center’s many ongoing projects including its current green technology initiatives and the center’s 1965 Shelby Cobra. Classroom demonstrations, building tours, refreshments, opportunities to win prizes and purchase student made Adirondack chairs will also be available.
