Gas/Diesel Mechanics

Through hands-on application, students will experience tooling in a very well equipped modern facility.  Tooling includes MIG, TIG, plasma cutting and speed-glas helmets in the welding curriculum.  Dyno-testing, injector overhaul/calibration and cylinder sleeve removal/replacement are common experiences during engine skill building.  Hydraulic theory is applied in shop machinery projects in the Agricultural and industrial arena.  Facilities are continually updated to parallel industry standards.

Our Gas & Diesel Mechanics Program offers an excellent foundation to a wide range of career options. Graduates have used their machinery repair training to secure employment in Gas & Diesel related fields. Further college or technical education may be pursued to enhance career goals. Technical specialization is often a popular career direction.
