Electrical Wiring is a two year course designed to provide students with the skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment as an electrician or further their education at a post-secondary institution. Statistics show that electricians held about 600,000 jobs in 2002. More than half were employed in the construction industry. Others worked as maintenance electricians and were employed in virtually every industry. About 1 in 10 are self-employed. |
