In conjunction with the Career and Technical programs, academic support is offered to enhance the experience of the students.  The following is available to all students:  AIS(Academic Intervention Services) including PLATO (computer-assisted academic support) in the five core subjects.  Also credit and non-credit bearing academic subjects for English, Math, and Science are available as requested.  Our academic team strives to incorporate academic skills into the programs that will meet the new academic standards and include material that is relevant to the assessments.

The Career and Technical education classroom, along with academic support, ensures that students with special needs will receive modifications and accommodations as stated on their Individual Education Plans (IEP).

All students with special needs will have equal access to high quality programs based on their individual needs and abilities.

Also, the academic support team strives to accommodate those adult students who request additional help in English, Math, and Science.  Computer programs as well as individualized instruction is available.  This may include pharmacology for nursing students, course review for cosmetology students, and review for GED students; to name a few.
