If you enjoy caring for others and have a sympathic nature, then our Practical Nursing Program can put you on the fast track to a life long career. As the baby boomers draw closer to retirement and are living longer the need for qualified nurses is increasing, which is making it one of the fastest growing careers.
Our 10 month Practical Nursing program is approved by the New York State Education Department. The program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to acquire nursing knowledge and skills to meet the requirements necessary to care for patients in the health care facility.
You will receive instruction from our highly qualified instructors and learn in our state of the art facility. You will be instructed in several modules. Each module contains performance-based objectives and the supporting competencies to meet program objectives, along with supervised clinical experiences in local hospitals, long-term facilities and agencies.
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Practical Nursing.
