Nursing Assistant

The Nursing Assistant program is designed to prepare secondary and adult students for entry-level employment in the health care field.  The personal rewards and self-satisfaction achieved from helping people get well and stay healthy will be the greatest success of all.
Students will learn basic and specialized skills needed to meet patients' needs for personal care, comfort, and safety.  Students gain substantial experience in giving bedside care to patients in the local health care facilities.  The program combines theory with supervised clinical experience.  Graduates are eligible to take the required state exam upon successful completion of the program.
